In 2025, a group of New Mexico pilots and aviation enthusiasts noticed something missing: a platform that truly celebrated the state’s incredible general aviation landscape—from the wind-swept mesas to hidden backcountry strips. AviateNM was born out of late-night hangar conversations and sunrise flights over the Sangre de Cristo range. We vowed to create more than just a podcast: a community hub where seasoned aviators share hard-earned lessons, newcomers find clear guidance, and every listener feels inspired to chase their own horizon. Whether you’re tuning in during pre-flight or unwinding after a long cross-country, AviateNM is your co-pilot—bringing you wings, wisdom, and the collective heartbeat of New Mexico’s skies.
