Aviate New Mexico (AviateNM) is an aviation-focused company built on a simple premise:
strong aviation systems require continuity, clarity, and culture—not just compliance.

We operate at the intersection of airport operations, aviation safety, regulatory understanding, and public-facing aviation culture, supporting general aviation across New Mexico and beyond.

AviateNM was created to address a recurring gap in aviation: the loss of institutional knowledge, the fragmentation of responsibility, and the tendency for compliance to become reactive instead of continuous. Our work is designed to reinforce stability—both operationally and culturally—within aviation organizations.

AviateNM began as a multimedia and storytelling platform highlighting New Mexico’s aviation community—its airports, pilots, landscapes, and culture. That foundation remains central to our identity.

Over time, our work expanded naturally into deeper operational and advisory roles as airports and organizations sought continuity, context, and trusted guidance from professionals who understand aviation from the inside.

Today, AviateNM reflects both of those origins:

  • grounded operational experience

  • and a commitment to preserving and advancing aviation culture

Leadership & Experience

AviateNM is led by William Fitzpatrick, whose background spans:

  • airport operations and inspections

  • aviation safety and education

  • military and civil aviation service

  • general aviation flight operations

This experience provides AviateNM with a rare vantage point—one that understands regulation, operations, and people as interconnected systems rather than separate silos.
