Flying begins at 10:00 a.m. each day (May 31 opening ceremony kicks off at 10:25 a.m.), with non-stop formation passes, high-speed jets, precision parachuting—and the thunderous roar of Special Ops birds you won’t want to miss.
Getting There: Rideshare Is the Way
To keep traffic humming, this is a rideshare event only—no base parking for the general public. Here’s how to roll in:

Hop a free shuttle to Kirtland (buses start at 8:00 a.m.; last bus back at 7:00 p.m.)

Prefer to walk or bike? Use the FAA/ACE dirt lot at Sunport Blvd & Girard Blvd—just east on Lowry St.
Base Gates & Access

Gates open to the public at 8:00 a.m. (Eubank & Maxwell open 24/7 for personnel)

Carlisle Gate serves handicap, VIPs, and contractors

Food & Tailgating:
– Small snacks welcome; no coolers or glass containers
